Synopsis

21CN is BT’s next generation network programme. It is a brand new platform that will replace the existing complex network and systems with a physically simpler and more reliable network. It will ensure the delivery of next generation services faster, more efficiently and more cost-effectively than ever before.

Tim will be discussing the challenges of today’s network infrastructure, why BT is implementing 21CN, the timescales for deployment, the implications for end customers and how the complex challenges and issues of migrating 30 million customers on to 21CN are being solved.

Tim will conclude by giving some insight into the “art of the possible”, and how customers, both residential and corporate, can benefit from 21CN and the next generation services it could deliver.
