Synopsis

In the fast-paced world of business today, companies are always on the lookout for smart ways to set goals, keep track of progress, and make sure they're growing sustainably. Objectives and Key Results, or OKRs for short, have become a great tool for doing just that. But the trick is to use the right kind of indicators to make them work. There are two types of indicators that play a crucial role: leading indicators, which help you predict what's coming in the future and make adjustments as needed, and lagging indicators, which give you the historical data to plan for the long term and assess how well you've done. This talk will get into the fundamentals of OKRs and show you how picking the right leading and lagging indicators is key to achieving your goals. You'll learn how to create OKRs that work, understand the difference between these two types of indicators, and leave with practical skills to put this knowledge into action at your job.
