Synopsis
While solo programming is the de facto standard in most corporate programming offices, most organizations are unaware of the costs and hazards of solo work, and are not truly aware of the alternatives and how various collaborative working styles avoid and eliminate all of the serious problems created by solo work assignments.
Tim will address the (very familiar) problems created by solo work styles and several ways that an organization can use self-organizing, cross-functional teams to produce results sooner, more often, and more predictably.
