Competitors in your workplace make you hunt for the next career opportunity. Competitors in your company's market make you struggle with your business. The classical approach to educating new software developers heavily relies on a competitive environment in which you have to fight for your grades on an individual basis. Then after education the real learning starts in a cooperative environment in that you need to contribute to a team of developers while keeping the overall team goal in mind. Most individually educated students fail that final challenge when entering the workplace. In this interactive workshop we will work on an egoless approach to moving forward in software development. We will work through your own goals and career paths, and work on your next goal in your career as a software craftsman. About the speaker
