Synopsis
Private Cloud promises to deliver cost savings and efficiencies but to
realize these benefits, IT needs to have a clear focus on
standardization, self-service, automation and compliance. In this
session, we will discuss how the Microsoft System Center 2012 suite of
technologies can help you deliver "IT as a Service", the key to a
successful Private Cloud solution.
About the speaker

Nigel Cain MBA, MBCS CITP is a Senior Program Manager in Microsoft's
Cloud and Datacenter Management division responsible for driving
customer focused design and development efforts. His primary
responsibilities include building working relationships with CxO,
owners and technical leadership in customers and business partners,
promoting and driving adoption of future versions of Systems
Management and Private/Public Cloud management software and ensuring
that customer needs and requirements are fed back into product
development. Nigel joined Microsoft in 1998 as technical consultant
and moved into a Program Management role in 2003. Since then he has
worked on a number of different products and initiatives but his
primary focus has always been on solutions that make Microsoft
technologies easier to manage. Nigel graduated MBA from Warwick
Business School in 2010.
