Indigo specialises in transmission of live video over standard IP networks. The company has developed small, low cost components which enable cameras to connect direct to Ethernet. This allows video to be distributed to any desktop, without the distance & quality limitations of analogue CCTV. This extends the use of surveillance cameras from security into areas such as Management Information Systems. Indigo is a 3 year-old startup, employs 23 people, has an office in Boston and has received investment of $5m.
